What are ALTAR BOXES ?
The Altar Boxes are designed and packaged for you to create a Spiritual Altar in your home, or a dedicated altar space within a room. An Altar is not about religious duty or ritualistic obligation. It’s about creating a tangible, physical space for your inner spiritual journey. A place to give thanks, speak to your spirit guides and meditate on your deepest emotions. An altar serves as a bridge between the physical and spiritual realms, where your deepest thoughts, intuitions, and emotions reside. It’s not just a spot where you have put objects, but it’s a evolving reflection of your spiritual journey. As such it can be forever changing. You can add or subtract items as you feel the need or urge. An Altar can be 'Spiritual', 'Ancestral', 'Seasonal' or 'Elemental'. In our Altar Boxes we have included multiple objects for you to chose from, to be arranged as you see fit. You don’t have to include them all at once. You can rotate what you use to include various items when they feel right for you. I have simply provided you with a choice of multiple possibilities. I have provided a sheet of paper that explains the meaning of each item within the box. The power of an Altar is in the intention you set, & not totally in the objects that you display. Remember to write down your intention in a concise and specific manner. Be specific about the outcomes that you desire.

Altar & Cacao Ceremony Box FAQ
What Direction Should My Altar Face?
It’s generally recommended that altars be on the East wall. This way, when you are standing in front of your altar and ready to work, you are facing East. East is the direction that the Sun and the Moon rise from and, if you’re working with nature’s energies, starting your work facing in this direction means that you’re facing what is coming towards you rather than what has been.
What are some recommended items to include in my Cacao Ceremony or on my Altar?
There are some items we recommend you include on your altar that ARE NOT included in the Altar boxes OR the Cacao Ceremomy Boxes due to weight and size restrictions.
Chalice (any small cup/bowl): Representing the Water Element, this can be used to purify your working area. It is generally understood that a Chalice is place on the West side of your altar. It should be filled with rain water and refreshed regularly.
Also: You will need a candle snuffer & fireproof container to extinguish anything you ignite (smudge sticks etc). A container with sand in it is a good way to 'snuff' a smudge.
